Several driving under the influence (DUI) arrests were reported by Pocono Mountain Regional police officers.

On Jan. 13 about 9:39 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle along SR611 at Veterans Drive after observing it traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver was identified as Felix Otero, 50, of Tobyhanna. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.

Also on Jan. 13, about 2:50 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle along SR115 south of SR903, in Tunkhannock Township, for traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver was identified as Robert Ebinger Jr., 23, of Lake Harmony. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was then taken to the state police barracks at Fern Ridge and submitted to a breath test which showed he was over the legal limit of .08 percent.

Ebinger will be charged with DUI and speeding, police said.

On Jan. 17 about 2:33 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop along SR611 at SR196 in Mt. Pocono. The driver was identified as Lauren Jerlinski, 22, of Bartonsville. She was found to be under the infuence and failed field sobriety tests. She was then placed under arrest and transported to the Monroe DUI Center in Stroudsburg for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending test results.

On Monday, Jan. 18, about 1:08 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop along SR940 at Bill's ShopRite Plaza. The driver was identified as Antony J. Bustamante, 32, of Canadensis. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest. He was taken to the PMC for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.

On Tuesday, Jan. 19, about 2 a.m. a traffic stop was made along SR940 at SR314, in Pocono Summit for a vehicle code violation. The driver was identified as Betty Knowles, of Scotrun. She was found to be under the influence and transported to the PMC for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.
