Graduates cum laude

Gregory Steigerwalt graduated cum laude from the A.J. Palumbo School of Business Administration at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh on May 6.

He received his bachelor of science degree in business administration after successfully completing his studies in two majors, finance and investment management.He was also notified that he was named to the dean's list for the spring 2011 semester.While at Duquesne, Steigerwalt was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, the Golden Key International Honour Society and the National Scholars Honor Society. He was an active member of Duquesne's Finance and Investment Association and, as an analyst, his Equity Valuation was chosen for investment by Duquesne University's Red & Blue Fund.Greg participated in Duquesne's Study Abroad program and spent the spring 2009 semester studying in Rome, Italy. He completed an internship program with First Investors Corporation of Pittsburgh during the summer of 2010.Greg will continue his education pursuing a master of science degree in finance starting in September, having enrolled in the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University in Philadelphia.He is a 2007 graduate of Lehighton Area High School. Greg is the son of Brian and Ann Marie Steigerwalt of Andreas, and the grandson of Amandus and Pauline Steigerwalt and Ann Oblas, all of Andreas, and the late Stephen Oblas.
