Rev. Francis Marzen, Pearl City, Hawaii, a native of Jim Thorpe and a son of Mrs. Frank Marzen who now resides with a son, Joseph, in Annandale, Va., and the late Mr. Marzen, has been named a monsignor, it was announced today. Father Marzen serves as a rector of Mother of Good Counsel Church in Hawaii and is editor of the deacon newspaper, The Catholic Herald. The investiture ceremony will take place Jan. 1 in Hawaii.
