The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life will once again be the recipient of funds raised by Boy Scout Troop 555 through their seventh annual Breakfast with Santa.

The event, which consisted of two sittings serving well over 300 people, was held at Memorial Hall in Jim Thorpe.

Children and parents all had a fun time as not just Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus stopped by to greet them but also Frosty the Snowman, the Christmas Bear, and Santa's Elves.

Each child was given the chance to meet with Santa and Mrs. Claus and receive a small toy.

In addition to the breakfast itself, there was also a Chinese auction, and a bake sale.

Everything was donated such as toys, stuffed animals, candy canes, plates, napkins, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and even the stickers and wash-off tattoos that the children received.

In addition, financial support from family members meant that every pancake and sausage link served was paid for by donations.

These donations allowed every penny received from ticket sales to go directly to the American Cancer Society.

This year's Breakfast with Santa will be giving Relay for Life a record amount of $3,125 raised by the event.
