Panther Valley hosts anti bullying program

Steve Fitzhugh, former NFL player, was the guest speaker for a school wide Panther Valley Anti Bullying Program at the three schools. He told the students, "It doesn't matter what you look like...you live in America." Fitzhugh played for the Denver Broncos and Cleveland Browns at one time and is quite the motivated speaker. He lives in Minnesota and is married with children of his own. "Respect yourself first," he told the children at PV Elementary School. He quickly related to that age group and got them involved in his message. He helps students on the right path for a happy, productive and successful future, and is a positive force for students. Everyone joined in a rap song called "Nasty." By that time the students got really wound up. "He certainly was a hit," said one teacher afterwards. Students swarmed to him for his autograph as he passed out signed NFL cards of himself.
