Nesquehoning police reported on the following traffic arrests.

Chief Sean Smith filed a charge of obedience to traffic control devices against Gary Arendt, 345 Lakeview Drive, Lehighton, for an incident on Dec. 10. According to Smith about 5:08 p.m. a cell phone caller notified the county communications center of an erratic driver traveling south of SR93 by Hudsondale. Smith got behind the vehicle in question and observed it all over the road, crossing the center lines and almost causing an accident.A stop was made and the driver was identified as Arendt, Smith said.Officer Thomas Kurtz issued the following traffic citations on Dec. 14. Four red light violations at Mermon Ave. and SR209; and four speeding violations at Oak and Catawissa sts. with speeds of 45, 44, 42 and 41 in a 25 zone.
