THIGPEN A daughter, Sophie Madison Thigpen, was born to Stacy and William Thigpen of Tamaqua, at 5:35 p.m., Sept. 18, 2010, at Schuylkill Medical Center in Pottsville. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces; and measured 19 1/2 inches.

Maternal grandparents are Brenda Hebelka of Coaldale and Matthew Allesch of Tamaqua.Paternal grandparents are Kevin and Colleen Bauer of Lansford.
