Massar's Notary Service holds Tamaqua ribbon cutting

Massar's Notary Service, 25 North Railroad Street, Tamaqua, held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its office, located across from Depot Square Park.

Debbie Massar, owner of the Notary Service, has been a regular Notary Public for four years and a full Notary for a year and a half. Prior to setting up shop on N. Railroad Street (Route 309), she operated her Notary business out of her Pine Street residence.Massar said she was trained as a Notary by Lee Kostin of Kostin's Notary Service.In order to obtain a Full Notary license, one must be in operation a minimum of 20 hours per week, said Massar, who is registered with the State Association of Notaries.Among the services Massar provides include automobile tags, temporary tages, intertransit tags, title transfers and regular notarization services. She is a full service agent and is available for real estate closings and the administering of oaths. She also has fax service is available for home appointments for regular Notary work.Massar Notary Service is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2-6 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
