Dear Editor:

It is easy to joke now with my rendition of the words to the tune, Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer!There was Jennifer and Stacy and Nancy and Melissa, Margie and Mary Ann and Josh, and Lisa, but do you recall, the most famous helpers of all...the entire staff of the ICU, Intensive Care Unit at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital.I want to also thank Dr. Bosi, Dr. Sahoo, Micah Gursky, and Kim Sargent this last week. In addition to the members of St. Luke's, Tracey Caroll offered to drive me to the hospital when I got the 'call' with the news.Although my Thanksgiving holiday this year was spent at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, its wonderful to know that these talented people are the reason that I look forward to the Christmas Season!Our community is so fortunate to have facilities and talented, caring people that serve us.So, the next time you hear the song about Rudolf, keep in mind the glow of his nose could be a reminder of the caring people we have right here in our neighborhood.Donald G.
