Christine Gries, a technology instructor at Penn State, Worthington campus, presented "Staying Connected with Technology" at the Penn State Cooperative Extension Monroe County's Annual Holiday Program. She encourages people to develop their own blogs, websites and Facebook because it is often a free way to network with family, friends and employees. She likes Weebly because it is free and user friendly. She suggests Photobucket, Smugmug as photo sharing sites but says Flicker is the most popular. They are a great way to share photos with family and friends. "The computer has become a great way to keep in touch with the family and it doesn't have to be a 3-ring circus," she says. She is available to answer any questions you might have and you can contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
