Winter is still officially 12 days away, but you would never know it by recent weather conditions. Snow squalls, temperatures dipping into the teens in the early morning, and ice – plenty of ice – can be found, such as icicles that formed on these trees and bushes along SR54 in the village of Hauto. Mother Nature's artwork is a thing of beauty, but it's also a warning that we're in for three months of nasty weather as we head toward Christmas and the New Year.
