HARRISBURG - Rep. Jerry Knowles (R-Berks/Schuylkill) today announced that residents of the 122nd Legislative District can contact his Tamaqua district office with any state related questions or concerns while Rep.-elect Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) is preparing his district office.

"Changing from one legislator to another takes time," said Knowles. "I am happy to help while Rep.-elect Heffley gets his office up and running. Residents of his district can feel free to call or visit my Tamaqua office during the transition."

"Representative Knowles and I have a great working relationship," Heffley said. "I appreciate the offer from him and his experienced and dedicated staff to assist the residents of the 122nd district as we work through this transition."

Some of the services provided by the district office include assistance with all Pennsylvania state government forms, helping residents acquire driver's licenses, vehicle registration and other Pennsylvania Department of Transportation applications, obtaining copies of birth and death certificates, assisting senior citizens with PACE/PACENET forms, providing information on state legislation, and offering a wide variety of informative brochures and information on all Pennsylvania state agencies and departments.

Knowles' Tamaqua office is located at 237 West Broad St., phone (570) 668-1240.
