Janiel Pfaff and John Spisak exchange vows

Janiel Pfaff, daughter of Mark and Mary Jean Pfaff of Tannersville, became the bride of John Spisak, son of Vince and Fran Spisak of Lansford on July 17, 2010 at St. Catherine's Cathedral in Allentown. The Rev. Monsignor Andrew Baker officiated the ceremony.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose her sister, Justine Pfaff of West Chester, Pa. as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Shilpa Jadhav, Piscataway, N.J.; Jen Ketz, Bridgeport, Pa.; Caryn Shields, Culpeper, Va.; Anne Smith, Macungie; and Lindsay Weiss, Bethlehem. Lucy Greco of Lansford was the flower girl.Best man honors were performed by P.J. Kupec of Quakertown. Ushers included Anthony Greco, Lansford; Justin Porambo, Bethlehem; Michael Stauffenberg, Allentown; Tom Valand, Denver, Colo.; and John Wefing, Bethlehem. Thomas Greco, Lansford, was the ring bearer.Following the ceremony the couple welcomed family and friends to a reception held at The Meadows in Hellertown, before leaving for a honeymoon in Riveria Maya, Mexico.The new Mrs. Spisak holds a bachelor of art degree in communications certified elementary education, and a master of science degree in instructional technology. She is employed as a fourth-grade teacher in the Parkland School District.Mr. Spisak holds a bachelor of art degree in art. He is employed as a graphic designer at the Famous Smokeshop in Easton.The newlyweds currently reside in Allentown.
