Mr. and Mrs. James Knoblauch of Winter Park, Fla., and formerly of Tamaqua and Alburtis, Pa., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Christine of Glendale, Calif., to Christopher Hall, also of Glendale.

The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Central Catholic High School and a 2003 graduate of Boston University, where she received a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology.She was previously employed as a lab manager for the Harvard Skin Disease Research Center from 2003 to 2006, and is currently employed at City of Hope, a cancer center in Duarte, Calif., as a manufacturing associate.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hall of Lowell, Mass.He is a 1995 graduate of Lowell High School and a 2001 graduate of Endicott College with a degree in communications.He is employed by E! Entertainment in Los Angeles, Calif. as a field producer.The couple is planning a September wedding.
