Twenty-two area residents were among 111 who were arraigned Monday morning in the office of District Attorney James P. Goodman at the Schuylkill County courthouse and all entered pleas of not guilty to the criminal charges filed against them and all asked for a jury trial. They were:

Allison Ann Frey, 36, of 21 Railroad St., Delano, Delano Township, charged by Patrolman Jonathan McHugh, Rush Township police, with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and failing to drive on right side of road.

George Robert Skidmore Jr., 49, of 418 E. Water St., Coaldale, charged by Patrolman Jonathan McHugh, Rush Township police, with DUI, driving while operating privileges were suspended, driver required to be licensed and failing to drive on right side of road.

Christine Cathleen Ritter, 24, of 12 W. Broad St., Tamaqua, charged by Patrolman Matthew Houser, Tamaqua police, with two counts of corruption of minors, possession of an instrument of crime (coat hangar), two counts of criminal solicitation to commit theft from motor vehicle, theft from motor vehicle in 200 block on W. Cottage Ave., theft by unlawful disposition of moveable property and receiving stolen property. Ritter was also charged by Patrolman Karl Harig, Tamaqua police, with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

The police report states she claimed she had no money but needed the clothing to look good before a judge as she was being sentenced for a DUI charge.
