State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the robbery Friday of a bank in Orwigsburg.

The robber struck the Susquehanna Bank at 1251 Centre Turnpike (Route 61) at 9:45 a.m. the robber, a white male, about 6-feet, 2-inches tall, with a medium build, short dark hair, slight facial hair, possibly in his mid-20s to mid-30s, was wearing a dark baseball cap, long sleeved flannel shirt and cargo shorts.He walked into the bank and handed a note to a teller demanding money. An undetermined amount of money was handed over to the man, who then left the bank, got into a small black or dark colored vehicle, possibly a Mazda RX7 or similar vehicle, and fled south on Route 61.Video surveillance captured several images of the man, police said.
