April 22, 1953 Eddy Levandusky and Dick Dotter both gain a pair of first-place finishes to help Lehighton's track team post a 71 1/2-23 1/2 Lehigh Valley League win over Emmaus. Levandusky claims the 100 and 220 yard runs while Dotter breaks the tape in the half-mile and mile. The Indians, coached by Jim Myers, also receive firsts from Tom Zimmerman (shot put), Lamont Gombert (discus), Bob Semmel (440) and Denny Roth (high jump).
