Colts, Panthers, Bears get baseball wins

Marian, Panther Valley and Pleasant Valley all picked up wins in baseball, while Lehighton and Pleasant Valley notched softball wins on Monday.

BASEBALLMarian-Pius XMark Stawick and Ryan Gimbi combined to strike out 10 Royals, as the Colts defeated their non-league opponent 11-4.Stawick was also 3-for-5 at the dish with an RBI. Gimbi added two hits and two RBIs.Teammates Brandon Dopira (two) and Scott Nietz (one) each drove in runs as well.
