Monroe County Habitat for Humanity will conduct its second annual contemporary concert "Praise the Roof" on Saturday, April 24, at 6 p.m. at The Sherman Theater, Main Street,Stroudsburg.

The concert to benefit Monroe County Habitat for Humanity will feature four contemporary Christian bands: Praise 4U based out of the West End, More Than Sunday based out of East Stroudsburg, Innermission based out of the West End and playing original Christian music and an East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church Praise Team.All the bands will perform contemporary praise and worship music for approximately 30 minutes each in a battleof the bands type format.

There will be short verbal presentations about Habitat for Humanity during the intermissions along with presentations in the lobby of The Sherman Theater. Tickets are available at the Monroe County Habitat for Humanity office or at The Sherman box office. The cost of admission will go to support the work of the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate in building decent affordable houses in our county in partnership with needy families.
