There was a good turnout of pets of all shapes, sizes, and species on Saturday afternoon at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Albrightsville as the Rev. Doug Holtz, pastor, led everyone in a short service and then proceeded to bless each and every pet present in commemoration of St. Francis of Assisi. "Bindi," a 2-year-old chocolate Lab, seems beside herself with excitement as she receives the Blessing of the Animals. For more animal blessing events, turn to page 3.
