A young man was seriously injured in a farm accident at the Dale Heisler farm along Catawissa Road in Walker Township Wednesday. The incident occurred at 10:30 a.m. when it was reported that Brian Heisler, 27, suffered a serious leg injury while working at a conveyor. He was treated at the scene by members of the Tamaqua ambulance and Lehighton paramedics then flown from the scene by the MedEvac helicopter to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. A hospital spokesperson said this morning she could not give out any information on his condition.
