Blue Mountain Ski Area isn't ready to open for ski season, yet. But it's going to be showing itself off next weekend in a partying style.

The Palmerton area ski resort is presenting "Rock the Fall," a two-day concert festival with rides, ski lifts, a pumpkin patch, refreshments, and snowsport vendors.

The event is Oct. 10 and 11, with admission at $20 per day for general admission and $25 per day for reserved seating. Entrance and parking is free. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.

Gates open at 11 a.m. each day with the music starting at 2 p.m.

The show on Saturday, Oct. 10, features Nickelodeon's star from Drake and Josh, actor/musician Drake Bell, as well as pop-rock bands Honor Society, V Factory, KSM, and singer/songwriter Tiffany Giardina.

On Sunday, Oct 11, country star Jimmy Wayne (opened for Brad Paisley at the Allentown Fair), Randy Houser, American Idol's Josh Gracin, Jessica Andrews, and Jessica Harp.

Saturday

Tiffany Giardina is ready to make her mark on the scene with the release of her highly anticipated pop-rock album, "No Average Angel" available now in stores and online.

KSM, the L.A. based all girl quintet, is anticipating the release of their 2009 Buena Vista Records debut CD. They toured during the summer, opening for Demi Lovato.

Honor Society has been the opening act on the Jonas Brothers tour.

V Factory have just finished recording for their debut album for Warner Bros.

Drake Bell is an award-winning American actor, comedian, guitarist, singer/songwriter, and occasional television director. Bell is commonly associated with his real-life best friend Josh Peck, who co-starred with him in the Nickelodeon hit show "Drake & Josh."

Sunday

Jessica Andrews had her first Top 40 hit at the age of 15, and took the music world by storm with her chart-topping single "Who I Am" at age 17.

Jessica Harp, one-half of the GRAMMY, ACM and CMA nominated duo The Wreckers, sets out on a solo adventure with her new playful single, "Boy Like Me."

Randy Houser is receiving great response from both fans and radio programmers with his first single, the gripping, strikingly emotional ballad "Anything Goes."

Josh Gracin first entered America's homes as one of the most distinctive performers in the second season of American Idol. He is one of only three solo country artists in recent years to release a debut album with three consecutive Top 5 country hits (including the No. 1 hit "Nothin' to Lose").

Country singer and songwriter Jimmy Wayne's new album, Do You Believe Me Now, features the hit single that has given him mainstream recognition.
