Burning in Schuylkill Township is prohibited by Township ordinance and by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection colocation hosting. Beginning in the fall of 2001, Schuylkill Township opened its yard waste recycling center to the residents of the Township. The recycling center is located within the Valley Forge Sewer Authority property off Pawling Road coldfusion hosting.From December through March, the center is open every Monday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm to accept leaves and tree limbs. Emergencies and road work projects may prohibit the yard being opened on a given Monday. Extended hours will begin again in April 2010 windows hosting. If Monday is a holiday, the yard will be open on Tuesday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.Schuylkill Township will be able to accept limbs 6" in diameter or less. Tree limbs more than 6” in diameter cannot be accepted . The recycling yard is open to Schuylkill Township residents only. Proof of residency is required asp hosting.
