Lehighton's field hockey team capped a perfect season Saturday by defeating Selinsgrove, 1-0, to win the PIAA Class AA state championship.

The Indians, showing everyone who is No. 1 in the above photo, finished the year with an undefeated 26-0 record. During the state playoffs, Lehighton posted four straight shutouts. Corrine McConville netted the game-winner on a penalty stroke in overtime, giving the school its first-ever team state title.
