A 1969 Panther Valley High School graduate has been named the top assistant principal in the state of Texas. Joseph Martino, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Martino of Summit Hill, received the award from the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals. He is employed by the Marshall Independent School District. Martino was also selected to represent the state of Texas during the National Association of Secondary School Principals convocation in Chicago next month.
