Marian Diocesan multi-media nominess

The Diocese of Allentown Office of Stewardship and Development has announced eight students from Marian Catholic High School have been nominated to further compete in the Allentown Diocese Multi-Media Contest. They are: Brian O'Donnell and Robert Karman, Print Advertisement; Rebecca Thomas and David Paul, PowerPoint Presentation; and Christopher Gieniec, Zachary Zubris, Jeremy Petrachonis and Samantha Heine, PowerPoint Presentation. This competition was open to Allentown Central Catholic, Bethlehem Catholic, Holy Name, Marian Catholic, Nativity

B.V.M., Notre Dame, Pius X and Reading Central Catholic High Schools. All students were invited to participate in the diocesan multi-media contest to create an advertisement for their Catholic high school. They had the option to create a video commercial, a PowerPoint presentation or a print advertisement promoting their Catholic high school. The theme for the competition was "Catholic Schools: Faith and Knowledge for Life." These nominees will travel to Holy Name High School, Reading on Jan. 30, 2010, where the winners for each category will be announced. Each student will receive an award for becoming a nominee and the grand winner will receive $300 and their school will receive a plaque displaying their name.
