The engagement of Keri Sue Harris, Green Brook, N.J. and originally from Jim Thorpe, to Jeremy Michael LaClair, also of Green Brook and originally from Evans Mills, N.Y., has been announced by their parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Peggy Sue O'Donnell of Jim Thorpe and George Harris of Lehighton; and the granddaughter of Charles and Judy Harris of Lehighton.

She is a 2000 graduate of Marian Catholic High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Delaware, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice. She is employed by the County of Northampton as an adult probation and parole officer.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Philip and Jill LaClair of Evans Mills; and the grandson of Wallace and Joan LaClair of Evans Mills, and Patricia Hotzman of Fairport, N.Y.

He is a 1997 graduate of Indian River High School and a 2001 graduate of Clarkson University.

He is employed as a civil engineer with Kiewit Constructors, Eastern District, based out of Woodcliff Lake, N.J.

A wedding date has been set for Sept. 18, 2010.
