A Tamaqua man pleaded guilty to a sex assault charge recently in the Schuylkill Court and a Nesquehoning man to a driviing under the influence (DUI) count and both were sentenced by Judge D. Michael Stine along with six others who entered guilty pleas to criminal charges.

Zachary S. Trevorah, 24, of 326 N. Railroad St., Tamaqua, on a charge of statutory sexual assault was sentenced to serve six to 23 months in the county prison, pay a fine of $150 plus court costs and $50 to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA) fund.

On a charge of corruption of minors he received a sentence of one to 23 months to run concurrent with the assault charge. He also received credit for having spent 20 days in prison. Trevorah was cited by Cpl. Henry Woods, Tamaqua police, last Jan. 8.

Justin Robert Fulton, 27, of 255 Lake Drive, Nesquehoning, on a charge of DUI was placed in the Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP) for 60 months, pay a fine of $2,500, court costs, $300 to the Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, $200 to the Catastrophe fund and make restitution of $60 to the Schuiylkill Medical Center for lab work. Fulton was cited by Patrolman Joseph Krammes, Pottsville police, on Nov. 19, 2008.

Nick Patrick Carusella, 25, Cressona, on a DUI charge was placed in the IPP for six months, pay a fine of $1,000, court costs, $100 to the SAE fund, $50 to the Catastrophe fund and his driver's license is suspended 12 months. On a charge of driving while his license was suspended was fined $200 plus costs. Carusella was cited by Patrolman Joseph R. Welsh, Pottsville police, last May 1.

Jessica Faye Osenbach, 23, Pottsville, on a DUI charge was placed in the IPP for six months, pay a fine of $500, court costs, $100 to the SAE fund, $50 to the Catastrophe fund, $60 to the Schuylkill Medical Center, complete the alcohol highway safe driving school and his license is suspended 12 months. She was cited by Patrolman Richard J. Pugh, Pottsville police, last April 2.

On a second DUI charge she was placed in the IPP program for six months to run consecutive to the first program with the same additional costs and an added 12 months license suspension. She was cited by Patrolman Thomas Hoban, Minersville police, last May 9.

Ann Marie Dale, 44, Pottsville, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance was placed in the IPP for 24 months, pay $100 to the SAE fund, make restitution of $176 to the Bethlehem Regional Lab and undergo intensive outpatient drug and alcohol counseling. She was cited by Patrolman Charles Webber, Pottsville police, last Jan. 14.

Michael Lee Boardman, 43, Pottsville, on a DUI charge was placed in the IPP for six months, pay a fine of $500, court costs, pay $100 to the SAE fund, $50 to the Catastrophe fund, $60 to the Pottsville Medical Center, attend and complete outpatient counseling and license is suspended 12 months. On a charge of careless driving was fined $25 plus $50 costs. Boardman was cited by Patrolman Paul Olson, Pottsville police.

George Patrick Sullivan, 45. Pottsville, on a charge of DUI was placed in the IPP for six months, pay $1,000 fine, court costs, $100 to the SAE fund, $200 to the Catastrophe fund, $60 to the Schuylkill Medical Center, ordered to complete an intensive outpatient counseling program and the alcohol highway safe driving school. Sulllivan was cited by Patrolman Brian Reno, Pottsville police, last April 23.

Daniel Lee Jastrzebski, 35, Fern Glen, on a DUI charge was sentenced to serve 30 days to six months in the county prison and after he serves his minimum sentence to be placed on probation, pay a fine of $750, court costs, $100 to the SAE fund, $100 to the Catastrophe fund, $60 to the Schuylkill Medical Center, receive outpatient counseling and his license is suspended 12 months. On a charge of failing to have proper lighting on his car was fined $25 plus $50 costs. He was cited by Patrolman Jeremy Talanca, McAdoo police, last May 23.

Each defendant must also pay a $50 per month supervision fee.
