Penelope's Diner, Route 115, Brodheadsville, will celebrate the holiday season by offering up to 150 free dinners to the needy of the community on Tuesday, Dec. 8. There will be no donations accepted and no tipping allowed.

Dinner will include turkey, ham or prime rib, soup, dessert and coffee. There will be three seatings: 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.Reservations for the free dinner can be made by calling (570) 236-6298.
